Global Alerts

1. Enter a location in the input field. You can use:
   • City names (e.g., Paris, Tokyo)
   • Postcodes (e.g., 10001)
   • Latitude/Longitude (e.g., 48.8567,2.3508)
   • Country or region names (e.g., Germany, California)
2. Click the Search Alerts button.
3. If alerts are found for the location, they will be displayed below in a card format. If no alerts exist, a green message will inform you.

Alert Information

Each alert card contains the following details:

• Headline: A short summary of the alert
• Event Type: The nature of the alert (e.g., Flood Warning)
• Urgency: Describes how soon action is needed (e.g., Immediate, Expected)
• Areas Affected: The regions or locations impacted by the alert
• Effective: When the alert starts
• Expires: When the alert ends
• Description: A detailed explanation of the weather event (if available)
• Instructions: Recommended actions or safety guidance (if available)

Severity Levels

Alerts are color-coded based on severity:

• Extreme / Severe – Red cards for critical alerts
• Moderate – Yellow cards for mid-level events
• Minor – Blue cards for low-impact events
• Unknown – Gray cards when severity isn't specified
